The textures in oil gives the viewer the feeling of the Umbrian architecture.The pillars were created from the split field stone which previously served as the foundation for the farmhouse now only a ghostly image in the middle of the driveway. The driveway leads to the Spalding home of mostly forest along the Rogue River.
